The area of the Andes mountain range in Bolivia presents very interesting geological manifestations, among them volcanic activity. As a result of the latter there are the thermal waters of Polques, where - at approximately seven in the morning - you can take a bath in which the temperature of 29 degrees (Celsius) and the high content of minerals in the water can alleviate the arthritis and rheumatism symptoms.
In the Andean landscape steam clouds are drawn flush with the water of a lagoon. At the foot of a hill, there is a natural pool called "Chalviri". The cold temperature of its content contrasts with the thermal waters emanating from the Polques Volcano creating a view worthy of admiration. This is how this tourist destination is known as the "Termas de Polques", located west of the town of Chalviri, in southeastern Bolivia.
UNNO SPA – Paracas
The Sajama National Park, one of the most important tourist destinations in Bolivia, is located in the Western Cordillera of the Andes and is the first Protected Area in the country. It is located in the province of Sajama and is the space dedicated to the conservation of high Andean ecosystems.
There are also the snow-capped Payachatas (Parinacota with 6032 masl), the forest of queñuas (trees that grow at the highest altitude in the world), the Huayñakota Lagoon, Maya, the geyser chain of Juchusuma Sajama in boiling slopes, an area in which You can observe the emanation of hot water from the subsoil and the hot springs in the open field that are the product of volcanic activity
